An engineering-led
Enigma Labs is a team of security engineers, researchers, and incident responders. We assess and defend existing systems, and we design and build new ones with security integrated from the outset.
Why we build
as well as test.
Most security failures are engineering failures: a misconfigured service, an unrotated credential, an authorisation check that was never written. Enigma Labs was founded on the view that the people who assess those failures should also be able to fix them, and to build systems that avoid them.
Assessment and incident response work gives us a continuous view of how real environments fail. That experience shapes how we design and build software: threat modelling before the architecture is fixed, authentication and authorisation treated as core features, and security testing before release rather than after an incident.
We work with organisations of all sizes, from growing companies without a dedicated security team to enterprises with mature programmes, and we scope every engagement to a defined outcome at an agreed price.
Security Assessment
Audits and penetration testing across network, identity, cloud, and applications
Incident Response
Containment, forensic investigation, and recovery
Secure Development
Web and mobile applications engineered with security built in
Hardening & Advisory
Remediation support and post-engagement hardening
The principles that
guide us.
Evidence over assertion
Every finding comes with reproduction steps, affected assets, and a severity rating, so your team can verify it and act on it.
Security in the design
Authentication, authorisation, and data handling are treated as core engineering requirements, not late-stage additions.
Plain reporting
Executive summaries and technical reports written for the people who use them, without jargon or padding.
Defined outcomes
Engagements are scoped to a clear deliverable, timeline, and price agreed before work starts.
